Details:
Shi Er for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ is a game of memory. The game has twelve tiles each corresponding to a different key code.
At the start of each round, a randomly generated tile pattern will be generated and you will have
a few moments to memorize the pattern before the pattern disappears from the game board. Your goal
is to successfully re-enter the pattern using the twelve tiles on the game board. You will have 10
minutes to successfully enter the pattern, and multiple attempts are allowed. Once the pattern has
been entered correctly, you will be allowed to move to the next level. You will earn points for each
level you complete, how fast the level was completed, and how many attempts it took to complete the
level.
To start the game, click the Next Game button. You will then be presented with a set of tiles as shown
in the picture. You will have 15 seconds to memorize the series of tiles, and then you will need to enter
the pattern that was displayed by clicking on one of the twelve tiles on the game board. If you get the
pattern correct, you will be allowed to move on to the next level and the number of tiles given will increase
by one. You will be allowed to go back and enter a smaller tile set by entering the number of tiles in the box
marked Tile Size and then clicking Next Game. However, you will not be able to enter more tiles than the
highest level you have achieved. See how high you can go and how many tiles you can remember.
You will have 10 minutes (600 seconds) to enter the tile pattern correctly. Once you think you have
entered the correct tile pattern, click the Unlock button to verify your pattern. You will see one of the two
status markers to the right. If you are incorrect, you can retry by simply clicking Enter Code and entering in
what you believe to be the correct pattern. If you forgot the pattern, and need to see it again, simply click Show Code and you will be given another 15 seconds to look at the pattern. But don’t take too long, as
time is always counting when you’re playing Shi Er. Or you can always take the easy way out and Give Up.
