Description:
While working out and going from one round to the other, it as become quite frequent when you lose out on the time of each round and hence run late. With the RoundTimer for BlackBerry, you can easily be aware as to when your rounds start and end.
WHAT IT DOES?
RoundTimer for BlackBerry v1.0 has been developed by Brian A Stancils. The application is basically an intuitive round based timer which follows the pattern of the fight rounds and the rest periods in boxing and other martial arts. While you are working out, the three light systems which are similar to the Amber, Everlast, and TITLE round timers, let you know your status in the workout.
FEATURES
RoundTimer is pretty easy to use. The round, warn and the rest lights give you the feelings of the lights that you see in boxing and other sports. The three lights namely the green, yellow and the red light will let you know about your round status. The green shows the beginning of a round while the yellow shows that it is coming to an end. The red light indicates the rest period. The round, warn and the rest times can be adjusted according to your workouts.
You also get the warning bell and a warning buzzer pretty much like the ones you have in the actual games. So you have the option of turning on the warning bell to mark the beginning and the end of rounds while the warning buzzer, which can also be turned off, will indicate that the round is coming to an end. All the options are available from the menu key of BlackBerry only, but keyboard shortcuts are also present for added convenience. Using the enter key, you can start and pause the timer and can be used any time during the rounds and the rest periods. The delete key can be used to reset the timer to the maximum round time and the round number to 1.
Isn’t it a simple application to have while you workout? At a price of just $2.99, RoundTimer will help you workout better. For the application you will require a BlackBerry device that runs on any of the following operating systems: 4.2, 4.3, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 Non-Touch, 5.0 Non-Touch. The display dimension should be among: 160×160, 240×160, 240×240, 240×260, 240×320, 320×240, 360×480, 480×320, 480×360.
