While the majority of folks out there seem to appreciate the new Quick Mode extensions BlackBerry has brought to their keyboard app, like most changes, it's not for everyone. If you're among those who don't like them, don't want to use them or just don't want them getting in the way, there is a way to disable them.
How to disable the BlackBerry Keyboard app extensions
1. Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon.
2. Tap Languages & input. Then tap Keyboard settings
3. Tap BlackBerry Keyboard. Then tap Advanced
4. Tap Keyboard extensions and tap on the toggle to disable
And that's all there is to it. Once disabled they'll disappear from your view when using the keyboard app. Should you wish to ever enable them again, all you have to do is repeat the process and turn on the toggle.
