Chess is a very popular board game, played by two people on a chessboard arranged in an 8x8 size grid. Each player will have a set of sixteen pieces of army, white or black, which are: 8 Pawns, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Rooks or Castles, 1 Queen and 1 King. This pieces are used to attack and capture the opponent pieces until the king is 'checkmate' which means it can't escape from the threat of being capture. The game may also ended in a draw, where neither player wins, this condition occurs when the king can't move elsewhere in the chessboard.
Chess for BBM follows professional rules set by The World Chess Federation. These are the following.
White always move first.
Castling.
En passant.
Promotion.
Stalemate.
The fifty-moves rule.
The threefold repetition.
Request Draw.
Request Play Again.
Use Olympic Timer (5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h), Standard Timer (60s, 90s, 120s, 150s and 180s) or without Timer (Premium Version only).
